TillmanCarlson Recruits Nirup Krishnamurthy As Chief Technology Officer For Northern Trust Corporation

Oak Brook, IL (November 10, 2005) - TillmanCarlson recruits Nirup Krishnamurthy as Chief Technology Officer for Northern Trust Corporation.

Krishnamurthy joins Northern Trust from UAL Corporation where he most recently served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Krishnamurthy also was Vice President of United's information services division and headed up the company's joint global information technology efforts with the Star Alliance, the global airline benefits provider. He began his career in the finance division at United in 1990, developing key optimization models for airline scheduling, operations planning and aircraft maintenance.

Krishnamurthy holds a Ph.D. and Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering completed in India.
