Coughlan most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lawson Software, a publicly traded $430 million business software company, where he essentially began his career in 1987 and ascended to CEO in 2000. During his eighteen year tenure with Lawson, Coughlan guided the company during a period of tremendous growth and led the company's successful transition from a private, family owned business to a publicly traded company.
